The rug has an intricately woven floral pattern with a tiny medallion motif in the center The primary colors are mint green, orange and ivory. The border also has a floral pattern with leaves and flowers. The design is Kashan and has been originated from late 17th century in Iran. The majority of Kashan's have a similar design with a central medallion and Persian floral motifs forming the pattern. Perfect for a formal living room or as a wall hanging. It has taken about 5-6 months to weave this beauty.
