Although, weaving a carpet represents beautiful art, it can be a tedious task to construct the same and can take months or may be years to make a single carpet by hand.

Step 1 - Spinning and Carding of wool into yarn

Convert wool raw material in wool yarn by using Chakra machine and then wash and leave it in shadow for dry.

Step 2 - Dying and Rolling of yarn:

Step 3 - Knotting - Weaving process of handmade carpets

The above process will take minimum 15days for completing those processes. After that, they start weaving process of carpet. There are three main techniques for weaving a carpet. Hand tufted technique, Hand knotted Technique, Flat woven technique.

Step 4 - Trimming of the carpet

After that, they finally check that if any threads come out or any color mismatching occurs and do final finishing. For this process, weavers use Scissors for cutting extra piles.

Step 5 - Rug washing:

When the weaving process is completed then they open the rug on loop and wash it with detergent and warm water. They use a wood plank to force the water through rug piles.

Step 6 - Final Touch

This is the rechecking process before delivered the carpets. If anything required then they do that for refreshing the carpet.
