It is woven in a natural material like pure New Zealand wool, silk and cotton material. Most of the people only see the beauty of a carpet and place it in a home accordingly. But you have to place a handmade area rug according to the traffic in a room. For example, if you have a silk area rug and you placed it in high traffic area then it is a big mistake. Your silk carpet can lose its beauty. So, for a high traffic area you can use jute, wool rug or cotton dhurrie and for a low traffic area, you can use a silk area rug. If you want to use a rug for outdoor then prefer to buy a handmade flat-woven cotton or wool dhurrie.
Never buy a traditional rug for a contemporary interior. A traditional rug is used for a classic look and if you want to take a rug for a contemporary look then you can buy a hand-tufted modern rug or a hand knotted modern rug.
3) Painting the walls before selecting furniture:
This is a very common mistake. We decide on a particular color palette without taking into consideration all the details. You should avoid painting the walls first and then choosing the furniture for a very simple reason: there are tons of color tones to choose from when it comes to painting but not so many when it comes to furniture and accessories. You can select a color from your carpet and furniture and after that, you can paint your wall.
