A) Make a solution of carpet cleaner and conditioner: -
In this method, we make carpet cleaner for cleaning the stain and conditioner for keeping the threads are soft. So take 2tablespoons of the regular detergent + 1 tablespoon of fabric softener + 1/2 spoon of OXI cleaner and mixed with 4 liters of warm water. If you have kids then you can make a non-toxic solution. For making this solution, add 1 cup white vinegar+ 2 cup water+ 1 tablespoon of salt. You can add 15-20 drops of lemon for removing bad smell from the carpets.

This is the simplest solution for cleaning a carpet. Add an equal amount of the window cleaner with hot water.
D) Ammonia solution for the strong stain: -
This solution is used for the dark spots and stains. When you are going to make this solution then you have to be careful because ammonia can burn your hand, skin or eyes. Add 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent+ ¼ part of ammonia + ¼ part of vinegar and make the solution with 11-liters water.
E) Wash by hand by using detergent: -
As we know that handmade carpets are totally handed washable carpet. So you can wash it at your home. Apply detergent solution with cold water on the carpet and scrubbed by hands. You can also use soft long hair brush for scrubbing the stain. Always remember that the direction of scrubbing process is the direction of the piles. Also, the flow of the water is in the same direction. You can use long hair brushes for the wool carpet but for the silk carpet, avoid the brushes. Silk carpets are expensive and the brushes may destroy the piles and decrease the beauty of the carpet.
F) Use vacuum cleaner: -
This is the best idea which you can apply in the daily bases. You should vacuum the carpet on both sides. You can apply this method when you have less time and your carpet takes more time to dry completely.
