At-home luxury
You probably got the idea of where all the trends are heading: as things become increasingly more available to the average citizen, people are able to afford many luxuries that were previously reserved for special luxury complexes or the ultra-rich. Some of the biggest trends are getting a modern, sleek fireplace for your living room and opting for commercial gym fitouts. If you want to get something started but can’t really afford to go all out, you can start by getting a part of it and building up from there. Dark and natural
There’s something inherently luxurious about dark colors and natural materials brought indoors. As far as natural materials go, wood is the most obvious choice, but there are other things you can consider such as granite and sand.
Basically, anything except plastic and metal will give the room a warm, natural look. You can make a great look by putting stark contrasts next to each other, like softwood next to crisp metal, or soft, fluffy overlays on top of glass. It will bring a sense of mystery and luxury into your home instantly. You can also bring live plants into the room to up the natural factor. Something like big-leaf potted plants will look great in corners of rooms and will provide some much-needed freshness.
