Color Fastness: If you buy from a store then you can check the colorfastness of the carpet. The Persian rug is woven by coloring yarn in vegetable dyeing method which fixes the color. It means when you rub it or washes, it will not bleed. In machine made carpet it is bleed. So this is also a good way to know that your carpet is real Persian rug or not.
