Cleaning your home can come with different tasks and the mess around your home makes you stressed and feel bad. Some times when you clean your home by putting all your time and efforts to make it look clean and tidy, but it seems like no matter how much you sweep, wash and clean your home, your home just doesn’t feel clean and orderly as you want it to be. There is always some reason behind pristine home and it makes you feel so relaxed. Let us look at some of the tips to keep your home clean and organized.

Clear off Dust Piles and Create a Proper Arranged System

Before starting with the cleaning process of your home, make sure that you clear off all the piles or collection that might have accumulated on the horizontal surfaces all around the home. Also, dust curtains, appliances, fans and lights, use a microfiber cloth to trap and remove the dust and dirt. Remove all the unwanted or least used things from the kitchen countertop, coffee tables, bedroom dresser, etc. Just keep things that are required and frequently used. This will help you to clean all the areas easily and get rid of loose items. After finishing the cleaning of the countertops, horizontal surfaces, coffee tables, etc., you can create a proper arrangement of all the things so that it can be feasible, accessible and convenient to you.

Clean Windows and Mirrors

Windows and mirrors often get dirty and therefore it is important to clean the windows and mirrors once every month. You can use window cleaner to spray it on the windows and wipe it out with a paper towel. You can also use some dishwashing liquid with water to clean the window and then use a squeegee to wipe the liquid solution off.

Floor cleaning

Cleaning the floor can be an extremely easy task with all the necessary floor care accessories and their proper knowledge. The number of times you need to clean the floor depends upon the home locality, the number of people living, types of pets, home situation, and lifestyle. You can sweep and vacuum your home floors at least once every day. Mop your floor twice or once a week depending upon the floor condition. If you have hardwood floors then you need to take care of and maintain them properly. You should not delay any work related to the wood floor as it can damage the stunning look of the floor. Make sure you don’t use much water while mopping and also clean spilled liquids quickly to avoid floor damage. If you have any handmade carpets covered your floor then it must be cleaned regularly, otherwise, it may affect your health as the dust and dirt gets hide on it. If you have a tile floor then it makes your cleaning work pretty easy. The dust doesn’t get stuck to the floor and makes it easy to sweep. You can use any type of floor cleaner to mop the floor. You can use a mixture of floor cleaner, water and spread it all over the floor and wipe it with a rag, it is an easy way to quickly clean your tile floor.

Clean All the Appliance at Home

Most of the home have appliance like oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop, blender and more. The first step is to clean the exterior of every appliance with a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water. Avoid using harsh chemical detergent and bleach for cleaning the exterior of the appliance. 

i. Refrigerator

Once you have done with the exterior cleaning of the refrigerator, shift the refrigerator away from the wall and clean the dust accumulated on the coils with the help of a vacuum. This will keep the fridge in good condition and will increase the life of it. In the end, take out all the things placed in the interior of the refrigerator, Wipe out the inside of the refrigerator with some soapy water and tidy up your freezer.

ii. Microwave and Stovetop

You can use the mixture of baking soda and water to remove all the tough spots and stains from the stovetop. A simple way to clean the microwave is to place a container full of water in the microwave and heat for some time and then leave it to sit for a few minutes and then allow the steam, this will help to loosen all the sludge and food scraps from the oven, wipe it all with a clean cloth.

iii. Dishwasher

A dishwasher should be cleaned regularly once all the necessary appliances have been washed using it. Dishwasher contains filters to collect the food particles to protect it from clogging. You can use some fragrance liquid wash solution to deodorize the dishwasher. 

Clean the Bathroom and Toilet

The bathroom is the room that can be cleaned in no time. Follow the below steps for cleaning each and every section of the room. 

  1. Remove all the things from the shower and wipe it down with a clean cloth. 
  2. Wipeout loose hairs and dust particles from the floors drains, walls, taps, and bucket using a paper towel.
  3. Clean the taps, basin, hinges, etc. with the soap solution and wipe it off with the paper towel. Use spray cleaner on sinks, bathroom vanities, and mirrors, wipe it with a clean towel
  4. Sprinkle some baking soda on the surface of the walls as well as in the floor, wash it with clean water and then wipe it with a clean towel. 

For your toilet cleaning, you can use bulk toilet paper and a toilet cleaner regularly to clean the toilet bowl stains and to kill germs, let the cleaning solution to sit for some hours and then use a toilet brush to scrub it and flush all the stains off. Use some odor eliminator in your toilets to restrict toilet from smelling unpleasant and stinky.

Clean the Mattress

Before cleaning the mattress, the first step is to strip off the covers and soak it in the warm water so that dust mites and bed bugs are killed. Then wash it as you normally do for your daily wear. After finishing with mattress covers, vacuum the entire mattress. Long-time use of mattress can lead your body sweat to grow up in it and can lead to an unpleasant smell.

Sprinkle some washing detergent over the mattress and lightly scrub with a brush to clean it and give it a nice essence. Vacuum the mattress again to remove the moisture.
